Report and notes as to evidence of George Croxton Walker, auctioneer & valuer of Bedford relating to his inspection of the Sun Inn, the property of Morris & Co. (Ampthill) Ltd, Brewers. Includes detailed inventory and notes about the furnishings and structure of the building and includes comparative notes as to the other two public houses in Felmersham 'I understand that these two houses (Sun Inn & Six Ringers) are both referred by the licensing justices, but that the licence of the third house known as the Plough Inn has been renewed. If the Justices have decided that three houses are far too many for Felmersham, and it is a question of redundancy, then in my opinion the two best houses have been chosen for differentiation, while the licence for decidedly the worst, (from a structural point of view and public accommodation, has been renewed I found that so far as the Sun Inn was concerned that the accommodation was much the best of the three, and that a large friendly society has its headquarters there, the accommodation has been well and suitably provided. In my opinion it would be a great pity, as well as an injustice to the village, if this license was refused, and from what I gathered in Felmersham, I understand that a committee would be formed to turn it into a club'.
