    Copy will and codicil of John James Reynal Adams of Hockliffe, Beds, farmer. Will dated 16th Apr 1909: I appoint: Frederic Thomas Tanqueray of Woburn, Beds, solicitor; Robert Hobourn of the same, gentleman and Sarah Ann Mann of Hockliffe, widow to be executors and trustees. I give: To sister Lucy Ellen Adams during her life a weekly sum of 6s with the sum of 14s given to her under my late fathers will. To RH for carrying out this trust 300. Residue of personal estate to SAM. I declare: Weekly payment to LEA to be charged on my real estate hereafter disposed of. I devise: Real estate unto FTT, RH and SAM and heirs to the use of SAM during her life and after her death to the use of Grace Fane Dunton with remainder to the use of the first and every son of GFD with remainder to the use of the first and every daughter with remainder to use of the right heirs of GFD. I empower: Trustees at their uncontrolled discretion to sell all or any parts of my real estate except Reynal Estate in Eggington and Hockliffe Parishes as long as the proceeds arising shall be held by trustees upon and for the trusts mentioned. Witnessed by F. Tanqueray and William Charles Pickering of Hockliffe, farmer. Codicil dated 16th Apr 1909: I declare: If SAM shall die before LEA then the annuity to LEA shall be increased by 1 per week I direct: To have grave stones erected at grave of my grandmother in Mentmore Churchyard and of my Grandfather, father and sister at Hockliffe Churchyard. Witnessed by WCP and William Ernest Herbert of Woburn, clerk to F. Tanqueray. Codicil dated 13th Jun 1909: I revoke: Real estate that was originally to be devised unto trustees to the use of GFD after the decease of SAM now shall be devised to the use of my friend Groom Cooper Bunker with remainder to the use of Sarah (Sally) Bunker his second daughter with remainder to the use of her first and second son with remainder to the use of her first and second daughter with remainder to the use of the right heirs of SB. I Declare: If SAM shall die before LEA then the annuity to LEA shall be increased by 2 per week I give: Edward Barnett of Leighton Buzzard me letters patent numbered 10978 A.D. 1906 for improvements in or relating to fire places to adapt them for heating rooms and the like with hot water. I appoint: GCB to be an additional executor.
