Estate Payment Account 1881-1887 The estate account payments summary gives details of payments made by William Paxton on Arthur Macnamara's behalf for maintenance expenses, land tax, income tax and inhabited house duty for property on the estates of Caddington Hall and Eaton Bray. The record books give details of the property, item of expenditure, date and cost and when the summary was submitted to Mr. Macnamara for his attention and settlement. The vouchers and receipts (BML 6/3/1 (i-xix)) give more detailed information on the items of expenditure and include a desciption of the work carried out, time taken, materials used and supplier.
