  • Title
Letter from George Burnham of Wellingborough [Northamptonshire] to John Green at Woburn: "I omitted sending my charges before supposing that your clients would have been admitted to their Copyhold Estate held of this Manor, and these all could be settled together. You did not acknowledge the receipt of my letter giving you information of the last Court - it has therefore occurred to me that your clients do not intend to apply for admission. If so the 3rd Proclamation will be made at the next Court, and in all probability I shall be desired by the Duchy Office to enact a Warrant of Seizure. I should be sorry to do this. You, no doubt, have considered that this is a Crown Manor, and that the Instances[?]have been always paid" appended is his detailed bill for 2/7/2
