Parties: (i) John Thomas Brooks of Flitwick, esquire; (ii) Thomas Parsons of Irchester [Northamptonshire], farmer Operative Part: - (i) leased (a)-(b) to (ii) Property: (a) farmhouse and homesteads, pightles, closes etc. containing 88a 0r 19p in Irchester in occupation of Thomas Parsons; (b) 9 cottages in Irchester in occupation of Thomas Parsons Habendum: - to (ii) for ten years from 29 Sep 1859 at 174 per annum rent plus an additional 50 per annum for every acre in excess of the current number of meadow or pasture ploughed up and converted to arable without written consent of (i); also an additional 10 per annum for every acre of arable land sown with white straw, grain or corn two years in succession without for one whole summer sowing with turnips, tares, beans, peas or clover without written consent of (i); tares etc. to be eaten on the premises and not elsewhere with only up to half the amount sown with clover to be mown for hay and then not more than 8 acres in a year Covenants: - detailed covenants as to management of the farm, crops etc.
