Letter from George Savage at 38 Campsbourne Road, Hornsey [Middlesex] to Allon White: - Just a few lines to wish you success in your endeavours to settle up matters with Mr.Tanquery [sic] for it appears Powell never would as I have written you before I desire and thank you to act entirely in so far as I am concerned and hereby authorise you to do so with a free hand. I have no desire to meet Meager since we met at Bedford when I came determined to meet him without displaying any unpleasantness and did hope with your kind assistance that all should be settled amicably. I am afraid if I see him again it may be different so I think it better not to trust myself. I am glad to hear you have settled his claim (don't forget he is only entitled to a fourth share of anything that may be forthcoming). I don't know that I have anything further to say at this time so will close hoping you are all quite well and wishing you all a Very Happy Xmas and New Year. I remain your affectionate Uncle"
