Letter from W.Sharrett of Woburn Sands [Buckinghamshire], builder, undertaker, Venetian and wire blind maker to John Thomas Green of Woburn: - "In reply to yours of the 5th as I don't owe Mr.Higgins the amount as you ask for & as I have not had the particulars as stated in yours & what amount I owe Mr.Higgins I am prepared to part if I have Bill of same but not any more. That what is due to Mr Higgins I shall not be willing to pay & shall not unless made to do so & which is considerably much less than stated in yours"
