Copy letter from John Thomas Green to Peter Hay, presumably Mr.Knapp's agent [see HN10/276/Goodman11-12]: - "You are granted liberty to enter on the Arable Land which comes in course for a wheat crop. I understood consent to this had been given by the owners also that Mr.Knapp's wish to take at valuation the Root Crops which might be left, was agreed to. I do not know what Stock there is on the Grass Land nor what the intention is as to disposing of it. I have there written to the Misses Goodman on the subject stating Mr.Knapp's offer to purchase the Grass Keeping
