(v) Schedule of claims made by Mr John Griffin on quitting Church Farm, Stanbridge, Michaelmas 1913. (vi) Ruling: re Church Farm, Stanbridge, John Griffin v George Pratt and T J Cook. The Arbitrator, Mr J A Weston, rules that in the first instance Griffin is liable for repairs on the property. In the second instance Griffin is not liable for damages for not having complied with proper farming methods. In the third instance Griffin is not liable for damages in respect of the First Cut Clover he sold off, 21 February 1914. (vii) Award: J A Weston states that J Griffin is entitled to receive 9 as compensation in respect of the improvements comprised in the first schedule of the award and a further 17-3-6 in respect of the claims mentioned in the second schedule of the award. G Pratt is entitled to receive 46-11-0 in respect of the claims mentioned in the third schedule of the award, 3 March 1914.
