Exterior front of disused Bedford Volunteer Fire Brigade Engine House, possibly adjacent to the Howard Chapel and the George & Dragon Public House, (the Brigade's Dept prior to the building of the later Station in 1888) or at the rear of 22-24 Adelaide Square (site of former Fire Dept purchased by Harpur Trust in 1883 but the buildings not dermolished until 1926) [E.Bedwell & Co., 38 Midland Road, Bedford].
