    19 meetings recorded at each meeting questions of title were reviewed and order for dates for meetings in the hundreds agreed. 1st mtg. Theed Pearse appointed clerk. 2nd mtg. Mrs Margaret Rudd declared intention to redeem land tax at Biggleswade and Northill asked to provide evidence of title to Northill as assessment in the name of Edward Rudd deceased. 3rd mtg. William Pembroke by his agent, James Lesley, proved to be entitled to land tax at Standbridge assessed in name of William Charles Pembroke. John Thornton of Woburn, draper recommended as trustee for small proprietors of Manshead hundred. John Edwards required to give evidence of title to land tax at Thurleigh and Clapham in the name of the late Mrs Reynolds. 4th mtg. Levi Lavender by Thomas Kidman his agent proved title to land tax at Hawnes assessed in the name of John Lavender. 5th mtg. Edmund Rolfe to give evidence of title to land in Ravensden assessed in the name of Thomas Rolfe. John Higgins junr proved that Mr Higgins had purchased estate of Mr Stokes at Turvey part assessed in the name of John Abraham. 6th mtg - no business. 7th mtg. Revd James Harvey proved title to estate at Northill. 8th mtg. William Dawson proved that the assessment on land at Biggleswade in the name of John Dawson was erroneous. Thomas Potter, John Bolding, Mrs Pye, Mrs Bolding (mother of John Bolding), Miss Wiles, The Earl of Ashburnham, William Baker of Houghton Conquest and John Seabrook declared their intention of redeeming land tax on their estates in the county. 9th mtg - orders re meetings only 10th mtg. Proved that estates in Houghton Regis assessed in the name of Hugh Inglis are the property of his son Robert Harry Inglis a minor. Ann Dover, widow, Thomas Lucas, William Dolton, and Thomas Butler applied to redeem land tax on estates at Woburn, Edward Hanwell applied to redeem on land at Hockliff and Woburn, William Bullock on land at Eversholt and John Buttfield on land at Houghton Regis. 11th mtg. Proved that estate in Chalgrave assessed in the name of John Perry is the property of Simon Le Blanc and estates in Chalgrave assessed in the name of Trinity College Cambridge belong to Trinity Hall, Cambridge. Estate in Ravensden assessed in the name of Thomas Roofe is the property of Edmund Rolfe. William Gibbard declared his intention to redeem land tax on his estate. 12th mtg. Proved that estates in Tempsford assessed in the names of John Payne, Peter Payne are property of Sir Gillies Payne bt. James Musgrove and Catherine Taylor, widow applied to redeem on land at Thurleigh and Woburn respectively. 13th mtg. progress report made to man from the Treasury. Estate in Pulloxhill assessed as belonging to the late William Young is the property of John Baker and Ann Bettesworth. 14th mtg. William Cox to prove title to land at Stopsley. Estate in Luton property of Thomas Jones. Revd John Tilmer, John Agutter gave intention to redeem. 15th mtg. Proved estate in Felmersham is property of Thomas Hipwell junr. Henry Thomas rescinded his contract and made a fresh contract. Benjamin Bradley did the same. Estate in Risley is the property of Thomas Beatles. Estate in Pertenhall is property of John Lettice DD. 16th mtg. Intention to redeem received from William Hayton as agent for Sarah Halsey, an infant, on land at Studham, Clapham and Great Barford and from Eton College on estates at Oakley, Clapham and Bromham. Leeson Wright and Daniel Quenesborough gave notice of intention to redeem for land in Dunstable. Richard Gutteridge gave notice, William Wootton gave notice re Marston, George Exton and Lucy Wiles, spinster gave notice. 17th mtg. John Franklin does not intend to redeem the Land Tax charged on his moiety of the navigation of the river Ouze or the parishes Blunham, Roxton, Tempsford & Eaton Socon or the sluices or stannches thereon or the tolls thereof and consenty that Susanna Palmer widow who is entitled to the other moiety shall redeem the same and she contracted accordingly. Richard Vernon Sadleir will not redeem Land Tax on his property at Apsley Guise but consent' that it should be purchased by Robert Sadleir Moody who by Richard How produced a conveyance of the revertion of the estate from Mr Sadleir to Mr Moody.
