- Scope and ContentThe Governor's report for Midsummer gives abstract of expenses of prison and prisoners' earnings The Visiting Justices' report for Midsummer mentions that extra room was needed in which the Government convicts would work, at a cost of 250. The Governor's report for Easter mentions Abel Burrows, ordered to be executed, whose sentence was commuted just before the execution to penal servitude for life 1854.
