    Parties: (i) J.W.Green Limited; (ii) Barclays Bank Limited Reciting: - trust deed of 29 Sep 1897 [see 15/4] which was still security for 150,000 first mortgage debenture stock; - (i) proposed to issue 50,000 further debenture stock; - (ii) consented to issue of stock providing it was conveyed properties in first schedule; - (ii) were satisfied that property in first schedule sufficient to secure the issue as well as releasing from the trust deed the properties in second schedule of original trust deed and 1,912/1/6 4% funding loan now subject to the trust deed Operative Part: - (i) acknowledged indebtedness to (ii) of 50,000 at 4% interest (in addition to 150,000 secured by trust deed); - (i) conveyed properties in first schedule to (ii) upon trusts which stood as security for whole 200,000 plus interest First Schedule: (a) land formerly in Park Street, Luton, now in Park Square containing in front on NE side 82 ft, on SE an irregular line 255 ft long, on SW side 76 ft and on NW side irregular line of 249 ft bounded: NE by Park Square; SE and SW by property of J.W.Green Limited; NW partly by land of C.Keeling, partly by Crown belonging to Northampton Brewery Company and partly by premises of Mrs.Dickinson; with all messuages, shops etc. erected thereon; (b) land of 15 poles 4 yards on SE boundary of 9 George Street (alias Market Hill), Luton bounded: SW and SE by property of J.W.Green Limited; NE and NW by messuage of Clara Smith and Helen Smith known as 9 George Street; (c) 24 poles 13 yards 8 feet in Park Street West, Luton extending 86 ft 9 in on SE along Park Street West, 91 ft 2 in on NW adjoining J.W.Green Limited's brewery, 75 ft on NE adjoining premises of J.W.Green Limited and 80 ft on SW adjoining premises of J.W.Green Limited; on which buildings known as 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16 Park Street West formerly stood now replaced by buildings built by J.W.Green Limited; (d) shop with wine & spirit stores, stables and outbuildings, yard and garden in Castle Street, Luton in occupation of J.W.Green Limited bounded: NW by Castle Street; N and NE partly by property of John Cumberland, partly by property of Benskins Limited; SE by sale yard of J.Cumberland & Sons; SW by Friends Meeting House; with right of way to street over land of John Cumberland; (e) Royal Oak, Chapel Foot, Langley, Hitchin [Hertfordshire]; (f) Kings Head, Back Street, Hitchin; (g) Bucks Head, Little Wymondley [Hertfordshire] facing the street N and with close of pasture adjoining of 1.5 acres; (h) Plough, now called Plough & Dial, Bridge Street, Hitchin bounded N by Bridge Street, E by River Hiz; (i) White Horse beerhouse, Coreys Mill, Graveley [Hertfordshire] fronting SW on high road from Hitchin to Stevenage [Hertfordshire]; also two cottages N of beerhouse, one of them adjoining it; also pasture of cottages containing 1a 0r 11p; (j) Crown, Pig Market, Hitchin; (k) Sugar Loaf, Leagrave formerly in occupation of William Sharp bounded: E by messuage formerly of Matthew Wingrove; W by messuage formerly of George Freeman; abutting on common street; also cottage in Leagrave formerly in occupation of Thomas Stokes bounded one side by messuage formerly of George Freeman on the other by messuage formerly of Thomas Swain, then Sir John Filmer; also orchard or pightle of half an acre in Saw Pit Lane on which cottage formerly of Thomas Stokes once stood which formed part of a close of one acre formerly of James Briggs; (l) White Hart, in lane near the church, Campton with adjoining cottage; (m) Kings Arms, Bucklersbury, Hitchin (part of which formerly separately occupied by George Carrington) with passage shooting from Bucklersbury to Angel Street, now Sun Street; inn bounded by: Bucklersbury W; estate of Robert Newton S; estate of Hammerton Crookall, then Samuel Emily Hobbs, then John Lucas, then Joseph Lucas deceased N; estate of Samuel Bell and Robert Kent E; also blacksmith's shop; (n) Red Sign Post, Shillington and close of meadow or pasture formerly held by Paul Linsley Poulter, then Thomas Haynes containing 2a 2r 35p; (o) Cricketers beer shop (formerly Live & Let Live), Ickleford [Hertfordshire] on W side of road; also cottage adjoining formerly in occupation of George Abbiss; also site of two cottages adjoining together near beer shop late in occupation of William Buck and James Gudgin, since pulled down; (p) Coach & Horses, Barton-le-Clay, site measuring 20 perches formerly in occupation of John Mead bounding: London Road W; former common field called Dunstall Field S; yard formerly of messuage of Edward Willes, esquire, then Rev.Willes sometime called Crown in occupation of James Bridden N; orchard formerly in occupation of James Bridden E; also small piece of ground formerly part of an orchard measuting 170 ft N to S and 64 ft 6 at W and 58 ft at E; (q) Black Swan, Limbury formerly in occupation of Thomas Stokes with orchard adjoining (formerly part of Hall Yard Close) of 0a 1r 38p; also spring at end of pasture of 36 perches; also land at NE side highway from Limbury to Leagrave of 18 poles 19 yards bounded SW by highway with frontage of 101 ft 6in, E and NE by Black Swan, NW by cottage of Mrs.Plummer measuring 84 ft 3 in; (r) Windmill, Charlton, Hitchin formerly in occupation of George Margan bounded: NW by road; S by close formerly of Edward Burr; E by river, site numbered 1386 in Tithe Commutation Survey and containing 15 perches; (s) First & Last, Stopsley in occupation of Samuel Impey facing road from Stopsley to Luton on SE and bounded by churchyard on SW; (t) Bull Inn, Gosmore, St.Ippollitts [Hertfordshire] bounded S by road from Gosmore to St.Ippollitts known as Waterdell Lane, W by road from Hitchin to Preston [Hertfordshire];
