The bus BM2730 was registered to the New Central Omnibus Co. on 30 November 1912, caught fire on 28 March 1913 (info Mr Cummings; letter 9.6.1993) and its number was cancelled on 29 June 1914. The damage is not evident in this photograph but it skidded off the road into a garden in light snow. The houses in the background including one named Clovelly Cottage are all demolished and were on the site of the present Roff Avenue roundabout. Demolished c 1973.
