Title
Double decker bus standing at St Peters waiting to commence the first excursion to London, 1912. Mr Giddings, father of Mr J.F. Giddings, the owner of the original picture, is sitting at the back on the upper deck wearing a flat cap. The bus BM 2234 was registered by the New Central Omnibus Co. Ltd., 5 Penrose Street, Walworth, S.E. and was a 30 H.P. blue and white Leyland, with solid rubber tyres and a maximum 'permissible speed' of 12 miles per hour, and was registered on 18th July, 1912
