Letter from S.T. Newman (S/S 498), Luton Road, Wilstead, to H.L. Peacock, suggesting that now the war in Europe is nearing the end, the wellingtons issued the Specials for use in case of liquid gas, should be presented to them. "Wellingtons at present can only be obtained with a permit and these are not easy to get."
