File dealing with the sale of Felmersham Grange by Robin Green to S.R. Wells of Bedford. Problems arise with contract as the purchaser made his offer on the basis that all the property was freehold. Nor is he prepared to buy subject to any tenancies, and a portion of the lordship of the manor has been purchased - for fishing rights etc.; copy of letter from Mr. Hackney, College Farm, Felmersham, to whom the grass keeping of the Grange was let, claiming his tenancy was not ended by usual notice and that certain fences belong to him.17 items.
