    Judicial Business: Examinations and Depositions - Other Offences. - The information of Robert Johnson of Elstow, sworn before John Cater, JP - On Tuesday last, the 13 February, Robert Johnson saw Francis Norman at 4 o'clock in the morning, coming out of the barn belonging to James Warren, Robert Johnson's Master. Francis Norman had something under his arm which looked like grain and straw, although it was dark and the said Robert Johnson couldn't see exactly what it was that Francis Norman was carrying. William Cox then joined Robert Johnson, and Robert Johnson accused Francis Norman of stealing the straw and grain to feed his cow, whereupone Francis Norman called him a lying rogue. - Signed by mark - The information of William Cox of Elstow, sworn before John Cater, JP - About nine days before this sworn oath taken on 21 February, William Cox was in the yard of his Master, James Warren at 4 o'clock in the morning, and saw Francis Norman opening the door of Mr Warren's barn and stealing a wisp of beans and straw, which were the property of Mr Warren, and saw him feed the straw and beans to his cow. William Cox also said that recently Francis Warren had come into the yard of Mr Warren a number of times under the pretence of looking after his cow. - Signed by mark - The information of Henry Johnson of Elstow, labourer, sworn before John Cater, JP. - The informant is employed by Mr James Warren as a thresher, and when he went to work on 13th February, and went into the barn he noticed that some straw and beans that he had left in the barn the night before were missing. - Signed by mark - Robert Johnson, William Cox and Henry Johnson, all to pay surety of 20. - Francis Norman to pay surety of 40 and Richard Battison and Thomas Dimmock to pay surety of 20.
