    Catalogue and conditions of sale of Live and Dead farming stock to be sold by auction by W & H Peacock at Brook Farm, Bolnhurst, on 23rd September 1941 by order of E W Mason, and also Particulars of the Windmill, Keysoe, to be auctioned on the same day by order of John Filsell. Brook Farm, 35 lots of Dead Stock, including "Avery" platform weighing machine and weights, "Ruston" disc drill, "Woods" grass mower, "Massey-Harris" 6ft binder, "Fordson" tractor and "Ransome" two-furrow tractor plough. 47 lots of Live Stock, including cows, heifers, bull calves, and mare. The Keysoe Windmill, standing on c40 poles of pasture fronting main road. Constructed on circular brick base with oak beam superstructure with two shuttered and two louvred sails. Fittings include outside steps, sack hoist, two pairs of french stones and usual mill equipment. With note that this was one of the few remaining working mills in the Country. To be sold with 23 lots of Dead Stock, including "Bamford" grass mower, "Hornsby" binder, "Peak" stones and bearings and "Hornsby" 9 hp oil engine; and live stock including 80 poultry and brown cart mare.
