- TitleAdmission - Manor of Leighton Buzzard alias Grovebury, Thomas Hill Mortimer, trustee for James Henry Leigh, farmer to St.George's Chapel, Windsor, Lord; Thomas Hill Mortimer, steward - presentment of surredner out of court on 27 Oct 1813 of John Morris the younger of St.Albans [Hertfordshire], gentleman for 140 by John Morris the elder and Samuel Davis of (a) two messuage adjoining Roebuck, Leighton Buzzard, on S side and abutting W on Lindons Alley, lately pulled down and replaced with two new messuages by Benjamin Reeve on land 40 feet by 25 feet, formerly in occupation of Joseph Atkins, then William Drage, then Edward Walker then Benjamin Gartsideto use of Samuel Reeve of Leighton Buzzard, grocer, since divided from cottage in occupation of Joseph Felce and Widow Hart, then Elizabeth Clarke and Robert Turnham; (b) washhouse and room over it lately in occupation of Benjamin Gartside, appertaining to Roebuck; (c) piece of three stall stable adjoining little yard of tenement erected by Benjamin Reeve near (b) being 10 feet 6 inches long and two feet 10 inches in width from left floor to ground and partitioned off from rest of stable by Samuel Reeve; (d) passage from street in front of tenement late in occupation of Elizabeth Clarke to back door in Roebuck yard; (e) right of way for Samuel Reeve over Roebuck yard to Jeffs Lane; (f) use of "necessary" house and pump in Roebuck yard, paying one third cost of cleaning necessary house and maintaining pump; (g) stairs and passage to corner of upper room of tenement erected by Benjamin Reeve adjoining Roebuck leading to two rooms over washhouse of Roebuck, measuring 9 feet long by 3 feet wide; to use of Samuel Reeve of Leighton Buzzard, grocer; -admission of Samuel Reeve
