    Attested copy declaration of John Green of Woburn, gentleman: - he was 80 years old and knew John Goodman formerly of Eversholt, farmer and maltster and Fanny, his wife and all their children; - his knowledge of Goodman family began over 60 years ago; - William Goodman, until recently living at Eversholt, was eldest son of John and Fanny; - John and Fanny Goodman married at Woburn in 1805 [copy certificate annexed]; - their first child was born in Dec 1806, a daughter named Helen (now dead); - William Goodman was born in Feb 1808, second child of the marriage [copy baptism certificate annexed] and is eldest son and heir at law; - sworn before John Thomas Green; - copy marriage certificate of 5 Dec 1805 at Woburn by John Parry, curate in presence of Sarah Goodman, Ellen Richards, Samuel Rock and John Stopp [copy made by Vicar of Woburn, H.Willes Southey]; - copy baptism certificate of William Goodman on 22 Mar 1808 at Eversholt [copy made by William S.Baker, Rector]; - witnessed by Henry Thomas Hall and Alfred Morrison, clerks to John Thomas Green of Woburn, solicitor
