Examination of Samuel Carter of Clophill, constable taken by Thomas Armstrong JP; - said that he was called out of his bed and as constable of Clophill, had to arrest some drunken and disorderly people, he asked Henry Gascoin and Ventiman Field to help him and they refused to aid the arrest.
