    Judicial Business - Examination and Depositions: Other offences: - Information of Hugh Cook of Tilsworth, taken 4th October 1714, before William Norcliffe and Francis Lowe, his Majesties Justices of the Peace. "This Informant deposeth and said that about the latter end of October in the year 1712 he had a Black Gelding about five years Old with a few white Haires in his Forehead stolen out of his grounds in Tilsworth parish in the said County...which said Gelding he found in the Hands or possession of John Crichton Junior of Newport Pagnell in the County of Bucks Dealer in Linnen Goods with a Pack of the same upon his Back with which the sd Gelding came to this Informants Gates on Saturday (?)2d of this instant October And this Informant upon Examination and Narrowly looking upon the said Gelding found it to be the same that he lost.
