Who upon his Corporall Oath saith that his Father and Mother haveing been many yeares travailers about the County of Nottingham etc. his Father useing to mend shooes to Catch Moles and Young Foxes for Gentlemen etc. " that five years since he had enlisted as a drummer and was discharged "in May last was a twelvemonth since when he has gon about the Countrys Mending Shooes till about a month since he came in Company with others up into these Parts for Acre Work and had the Misfortune to fall Sick of a feavour which held him till harvest being all Cut Down and Near home in these parts his Companions being to return home were forced by Reason of his Weakness to leave him behind them.."
