Copy conditional surrender, Manor of Biggleswade, before Edward Twelvetrees and Thomas James Hooper, two customary tenants, by Samuel Woodall of Biggleswade, blacksmith, in consideration of 700 borrowed from William Henry Baylis of 131 Prince of Wales Road [Middlesex], sculptor of (a) cottage afterwards divided into three, recently pulled down by Samuel Woodall and replaced by dwelling house, blacksmith's shop and premises in his occupation and adjoining messuage in occupation of William Rycroft on E side of Shortmead Street, Biggleswade to which Samuel Woodall was admitted tenant on 21 Dec 1872 on surrender of John Malden
