Removal order for Mary Franklin aged about 9 years and George Franklin aged about 5 years, children of Thomas Franklin and Eleanor his wife. Removed from Barton to Cardington.

Upon the complaint of the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Barton in the County of Bedford Mary Franklin aged about 9 years and George Franklin aged about 5 years the son and daughter of Thomas Franklin and Eleanor his wife did lately come to inhabit in the said parish of Barton not having gained a legal settlement there, nor produced any Certificate owning them to be settled elsewhere, and that the said Mary Franklin and George franklin are liekly to be chargeable to the said parish of Barton. We the said Justices upon due proof made thereof, as well upon the Examination of Joseph Franklin brother of the said Thomas Franklin upon oath as otherwise...do adjudge that the lawful settlement of them the said Mary Franklin and George Franklin is in the parish of Cardington.
