Extract from will of 4 Dec 1865 of Joseph Powers, deceased, of Girtford including: - appointment of his uncle Edmund Powers of Biggleswade, miller and his cousin John Powers of Girtford, corn dealer as trustees of his will; - legacy of 75 to his uncle Samuel Powers; - repose of power over his real estate to the trustees of the will to sell or mortgage to raise money to repay debts, pay legacies etc.; - devise of all his real estate, subject to trusts noted above, to his sister Sarah, wife of Alfred Whitbread Tranter; - death of testator on 25 Feb 1866; - proof of his will in PPR on 28 Apr 1866 Prepared by Edward Leeds Smith of Sandy
