    Bargain and Sale Parties: (i) Lawrence Peake of Thurleigh, yeoman; (ii) Thomas Richards of Keysoe, victualler; (iii) Richard Smith alias Lyont, of Bedford, butcher (as trustee) Reciting: (I) sale of 3 Jun 1743 Parties: (1) Henry Richards of Raunds [Northamptonshire], yeoman [son and heir of Henry Richards late of Keysoe, yeoman, deceased] and Sanfield Maria, his wife; (2) Lawrence Peake; (3) Thomas Richards and John Taylor of Bedford, gentleman [since dead] in which (2) paid 15 to (1) [as mortgage monies lent to Thomas Richards] and Thomas Richards gave 7 to (1), (1) selling (a)-(c) to (3) Property: (a) six lands lying together in Church Field, Keysoe in occupation of Samuel Ashbolt, then Thomas Richards, abutting: orchard of Henry Richards, then Thomas Richards to W; piece of ground called Alwell to E; ground of James Walford, now John Savill, gentleman to N; land of Earl of Bolingbroke, then Sir Jeremiah Sambrook, deceased, to S; and totalling 2 acres; (b) two lands lying together in Tibdon Field, Keysoe, containing 3 roods in occupation of Samuel Ashbolt, now Thomas Richards; (c) four lands lying together in New Pasture, Keysoe, of one acre, in occupation of Thomas Woodham, abutting on Sow Mead at one end and Sow Mead Lane, leading to Pertenhall at other, with land of Earl of Bolingbroke, then Sir Jeremiah Sambrook on the other sides Habendum: - to use of (3) to use of (2) for 1,000 years subject to proviso for redemption, to use of Thomas Richards (II) mortgage to Lawrence Peake not repaid, 19/2/6 now being owing (III) (ii) agreed to sell (a)-(c) above to (i) for 22 (less 19/2/6 outstanding mortgage) [see Z1087/1/1/2 and 3] Operative Part: - (iii) gave 5/- to (i) and (i) assigned (a)-(c) and remaining term of years to (iii) Habendum: - to (iii) for remainder of term of 1,000 years in trust for (i) Witnesses: - Henry Horton; - Griffith Morgan Lawrence Peake signed with a mark
