Manor of Ampthill surrender of Alice Wells, widow (Edward Wells having died on 11 Feb 1749 [1750]) of cottage near Market House, Ampthill, divided into two tenements of which one was in occupation of John Jackson, sadler, and one was empty, bounded: N and E by pond called Oxflood; W by Rose & Crown in occupation of Thomas Cart, with all shops, lean-tos, penthouses etc. to use of Joseph Green of Watford [Hertfordshire], currier and John Green his son, aged 16, who were admitted at same court
