    Attested copy Conveyance Parties: (i) Benjamin Jefferies of Great Barford, farmer (only surviving trustee of will of George Palmer the younger, deceased); (ii) John Palmer, late of Goldington, now of Bedford, gentleman and Elizabeth his wife; (iii) William Rogers of Bedford, gentleman; (iv) William Pestell of Bedford, common brewer Reciting: - will of George Palmer of Goldington, gentleman, deceased of 6 Feb 1794 devising all his lands in Wilden and Roxton lately purchased from Elizabeth Wagstaff and William Wagstaff to John Purser (subject to life estate for his wife Mary in lands occupied by Fuller [not conveyed by this instrument]) upon trusts - Fuller's land to go to his wife Mary Palmer, after her death to use of their children as tenants in common - the rest of the land in Wilden and Roxton to his daughter Mary, wife of John Crowe, clerk to use of John Purser to preserve uses and allow his daughter to receive rents and profits, to use of children of Mary Crowe or, if she died without issue to use of testator's children George and Emery Palmer as tenants in common; - codicil of George Palmer not affecting Wilden land; - death of George Palmer and proof of his will in Archdeaconry Court of Bedford on 15 Nov 1794; - Mary was George Palmer's second wife, with whom he had no children and, having survived him for many years, she eventually died; - Mary Crowe survived John Crowe her husband and on 5 Nov 1795 married Joseph Willis who died in Mar 1837, she surviving him; - Mary had only one child - Emery Palmer Willis who. on 8 Feb 1840, married James Millward by whom she had one child - Margaret Emily Millward who died as an infant and was buried at St.Peter de Merton, Bedford on 1 Oct 1841; - Emery Palmer Millward died and was buried at St.Peter de Merton on 11 Mar 1844; - Emery Palmer died in Nov 1808 intestate and without issue and was buried at Goldington on 18 Nov 1808, his brother George being his heir at law; - will of George Palmer of 18 Jun 1823: devising to his wife Dorothy an annuity of 150 paid from all his real estate in Goldington and in lieu of satisfaction of dower and thirds on any part of his estate; to his daughter Lucy, wife of William Higgins of Irthlingborough [Northamptonshire], farmer and Sophia, wife of Charles Porter of Saffron Walden [Essex], maltster 2,000 each; to his daughters Dorothy Palmer, Caroline Palmer and Georgiana Palmer 2,700 each; to his friends Charles Short of Bedford, surgeon, Thomas Street of Renhold, farmer and Benjamin Jefferies, whom he appointed executors, all his personal estate upon trust for conversion to money to pay the legacies and all his real estate upon trust to pay his wife's annuity and to sell or mortgage property not in Goldington to pay the legacies and to pay an annuity of 100 to his daughter Eliza Palmer and raise 2,000 for her children on her decease; - codicil of George Palmer increasing Eliza's annuity to 135 and her children's lump sum to 2,700; - death of George Palmer and proof of his will in Archdeaconry Court of Bedford on 18 Sep 1824; - death of Thomas Street on 15 May 1825; - death of Charles Short on 11 Mar 1844; - Dorothy Palmer died in Mar 1827; - the legacies to Lucy Higgins, Sophia Porter, Dorothy Palmer (since deceased), Caroline Palmer (then wife of Robert Sharp) and Georgiana Palmer (then wife of Oliver Beale) had been paid; - Eliza Palmer died childless on 17 Jun 1846, the legacy of 2,700 being divided between her sisters and (ii); - (ii) was only son of George Palmer the younger, deceased Operative Part: - (iii) paid 1,800 to (ii) with privity of (i); - (iii) paid 10/- to (i); - (i) by direction of (ii) and Elizabeth Palmer, with purpose of releasing her dower rights, released (a)-(g) to (iii) Property: (a) farmhouse with yard, barns, stables, outhouses etc. in occupation of Ebenezer Grey, then Samuel Whitmee; (b) Great Close of pasture of 10 acres in Seawick End, Wilden; (c) close called the Orchard adjoining W side of (a) of 1a 3r 22p, including site of (a); (d) Home Close or Bushey Close of pasture of 2a 2r 38p; (e) 2 closes of arable on E and N side of Long Close, called Brookfurlong and Little Field, containing together 45a 1r 15p bounded S by Wilden Street; E by Colmworth Road; at SE Chequers public house and allotment to George Peregrine Nash; (f) part of close of arable lying above Little Field and connected with it by a small neck of land stretching up to (e) along W side of cottage and garden and the part to be conveyed being bounded by Colmworth Road on SE and containing 3a 0r 12p (the whole close being 13a 2r 0p) lately agreed to be purchased by (ii) from Charles Short, esquire and since subsold by him and conveyed to (iii) by devisees in trust for sale under will of Charles Short by direction of (ii); (g) close of land adjoining (f) on NW side containing 15a 0r 14p - plan of (a)-(g) included; - (e)-(g) and 4 poles of other land to be conveyed having been allotted at inclosure as: (A) one plot, part of waste, containing 4 perches bounded SE by town street and other parts by ancient inclosures of Mary, wife of Joseph Willis; (B) one plot of land in Brook Furlong and Little Field containing 37a 2r 13p bounded N by 9th allotment to Duke of Bedford exchanged to Mary Willis, part E by Colmworth Road; part S and E by allotment to Peregrine Nash; part S by town street, part W and S by ancient inclosure of Mary Willis, part W and NW by ancient inclosures of Duke of Bedford, part W by ancient inclosure of John Skinner and exchanged to Duke of Bedford; (C) plot in Great Smartwick Field of 18a 0r 25p bounded: part NW, part NE by allotment of Rev.Leonard Towne; part NE by Colmworth; part SE and part NE by allotment to Levi Stewart; E by Colmworth Road;
