The Pym Family Portraits, from Hasells Hall, Sandy. PYM - Francis Leslie (WATERCOLOUR). Eldest son of Francis Pym J.P., and the Lady Jane Elizabeth of the Hasells. Born 1818. Educated Rugby and Cambridge. Married 1847, Mary Jemima (died 1898) youngest daughter of the Rev. Henry Palmer of Withcote Hall, Leicestershire. Four sons and six daughters. Succeeded his father 23rd Feb. 1860. Killed in railway accident at Hatfield 23rd April 1860. Buried at Radwell, Herts.
