(a) 22 acres 20 poles of freehold in Clifton, purchased by William Rowlett on 11 Oct 1872;
(b) the site of old cottages in Campton purchased by William Rowlett on 29 Sep 1871, in ruin and long unoccupied, only value of the property being 20 poles of freehold land, rent valued at 1 per annum;
(c) 3 acres, 12 poles of freehold land in Clifton Fields of 20 saleable value;
(d) 1 acre, 2 roods of freehold land in Clifton Fields of 120 saleable value
William Rowlett occupied (a)-(d) except 20 poles [i.e. (b) above]; the properties being assessed as 26/2/- for tax, i.e. 71 per annum; total rent value 72 per annum with deductions as below:
- 6/- unredeemed Land Tax; 8/- fire insurance; 5 repairs;
- mortgage of first two properties
Total deduction of 90/14/-; net per annum value therefore nil
