John Donne) and lump sum of £1,500 to divide among her children after her death ; - an annuity of £75 to his niece Mary Haslehurst (afterwards Mary Donne), sister of Dinah Donne and lump sum of £1,500 to divide among her children after her death; - an annuity of £75 to his niece Martha Haslehurst (afterwards Martha Donne) and lump sum of £1,500 to divide among her children after her death; - an annuity of £50 to his nephew Joseph Twinock reverting to his wife Beatrice after his death and lump sum of £1,000 to their children after their deaths; - an annuity to Thomas Haslehurst and after his death a lump sum of £600 as therein mentioned; - the residue of all real and personal estate to his niece Mary Evans (wife of Rowland Evans). (XII) Indenture by way of transfer of mortgage of 1 Jul 1848 from Esther Greenwood, Edward Mortimer and William Underhill to Anne Wynne, widow; conveyance of mortgage of 1 Mar 1849 between (i) Ann Wynne, (ii) Philip Booth, (iii) Samuel Ridings Grimshaw and (iv) Edward Henry Rickards; transfer of mortgage of 14 Oct 1851 between (i) Samuel Ridings Grimshaw, (ii) Philip Booth, (iii) Thomas D'Oyly and (iv) Edward Henry Rickards all endorsed on indenture of 1 Jul 1848 and by which, ultimately, the premises were conveyed to Thomas D'Oyly subject to right of redemption by Philip Booth. (XIII) Indenture of 27 Jun 1848 in which Samuel Walker lent £1,350 to Philip Booth at 5% interest (making a total debt from PB to SW of £2,350) and Philip Booth conveyed (a) to (bx) to Samuel Walker subject to incumbrances (XIV) Indenture of 10 Nov 1849 in which Philip Booth borrowed a further £1,000 from Samuel Walker. (XV) Beatrice Twinock died and was buried on 29 Jan 1851 at All Saints, Charlton upon Medlock, Manchester and the sum of £1,000 noted in (I) became payable (XVI) John Evans died on 13 Aug 1851 and was buried in the cemetery at Norwood [Surrey] (XVII) Indenture of 4 Jun 1852 between (i) Rowland Evans, (ii) Philip Booth, (iii) Thomas D'Oyly and (iv) Edward Henry Rickards in which (iii) paid £1,000 to (i) to pay the sum due on the death of Beatrice Twinock. (XVII) Indenture of 27 Nov 1852 by which Philip Booth conveyed to St.Pierre Butler Hook for two sums of £537/15/- and £279/15/6 due to SBH together with a further £100 paid by SBH to PB the land (a) to (bx) subject to incumbrances.(XVIII) Indenture of 4 Mar 1853 in which PB borrowed a further £100 from SBH. (XIX) Mary Donne died on 31 Mar 1853 and was buried at Marriston, near Swansea [Glamorgan]. (XX) The £1,500 payable under (I) on the death of Mary Donne remained unpaid. (XXI) On 6 Jun 1851 Richard Kirkman Lane obtained judgement in an action in Queen's Bench against Philip Booth for £2,800 debt and £3/10/- cost of suit and left a memorandum with Court of Common Pleas; and claimed to be paid £1,318/8/4 and £3/10/- costs. (XXII) On 7 Jan 1853 Richard Kirkman Lane obtained another judgement in Queens Bench against Philip Booth for debt £200 and £3/10/- costs and left a memorandum with Court of Common Pleas claiming to be paid £200 and £3/10/-. (XXIII) Default was made in payments to Samuel Walker of the mortgage in (XIII) above. (XXIV) Default was made in payments to Samuel Walker of the mortgage in (XIV) above. Witnessing (vii) paid £9,323/10/7 to (i); £7,676/9/5 to (ii) and (i) with the consent of (ii), (iii), (iv), (v) and (vi) conveyed to (vii) the land (a) to (bx) subject in incumbrances, being the 5/- quit rent to the Manor of Steppingley, £5/4/- per annum to buy bread for the poor of Milton Ernest, £1,500 payable on the death of Mary Donne and the annuities payable to Dinah Donne and Martha Donne together with the two lump sums of £1,500 payable on their respective deaths.Habendum to hold to (vii) in fee simple, to the use of (viii) in trust for (vii), to the use of (vii)Witnessed by Thomas Hazard, clerk to E.H.Rickards & S.W.Walker and W.J.Watson, clerk to St.P.B.Hook Endorsement - Z 951/8/1
