    Conveyance by indenture of feoffment from Thomas Beech of Wilstead, yeoman, son and heir of Thomas Beech, his late father deceased, who was the surviving feoffee of the land below, to Sir George Blundell of Cardington manor, knight, William Manley the elder gent, lord of the manor of Cotton End in Wilstead,, William Manley the younger, son and heir apparent of WM the elder, Richard Manley, gent., William Bedell, gent., lord of the manor of Wilstead, John Warner, gent., Edward Warner the elder, Edward Warner the younger, William Beech and John Osmond, all of Wilstead, yeomen, to the end and intent that there should for ever be sufficient trustees and feoffees to order, rule and govern the charity land to the uses 'designed by the pious donors or purchasers thereof', of: (a) messuage or tenement with appurtenances called the Church House in Wilstead (b) pightle called the Church 'pightell' containing half an acre, the closes of Jonathan Taylor on the S. and E., the ground of William Cawne N., and the highway W. (c) one acre of meadow ground called Stewardsacre lying next the Heywards sward E., abutting on the common S. and the Pole grasse N.; which (b) and (c) are now in the occupation of WC his assignees or assigns (d) three acres and three roods of arable land lying dispersedly in the fields and parish of Wilstead viz. in Houghton Field one half acre, the land of Nicholas Denton, gent., on the N. and the land in the tenure of Jeremiah Barte on the S., abutting E. on the widow Coothe's land; two roods in Hill Field in Brooke furlong between the land of Sir St. John Moore, knight, to the W. and Edward Stratton E.; half an acre in the Stone Field abutting to the Townesend, the land of Mr. Bowles E. and William Killingworth W.; half an acre in Michells bush furlong, the land of John Warner W. and George Warner E.; two roods more in Mead Field on the clay side, the land of the said John Warner E. and Sir St. John Moore W.; one rood in the Marsh, Sir St. John Moore E. and William Killingworth W.; half an acre in the Road furlong, John Warner N. and John Osmond S.; half an acre in Cotten End Field in the Road furlong there, William Edwards S. the Lady Wright formerly 'Halfheyde' N.; and also one acre of meadow lying in the farther meadow between the meadow of William Bedells N. on the one part and the meadow of John Warner S. on the other part; one rood of meadow in the hither meadow between the meadow of John Warner N. on the one part and the meadow of William Welles S. on the other part (which arable and meadow are now in the occupation of John Stratton or of his assigns) (e) pightle of ground lying at the end of Hooked land abutting E. on Hooked lands and now in the occupation of George Edwards or one of his assigns [all which premises are in Wilstead] Habendum to the feoffees above in fee upon trust to order, rule and govern the land , receive the rents and profits thereof and dispose of the same to the charitable uses designed by the donors; that when seven of the feoffees are dead, the surviving four shall convey and enfeoff seven other freeholders of Wilstead at least and their heirs of the premises, the same order for ever to be observed provided always that all leases or demises of the premises or any part thereof made to any of the feoffees or their heirs shall ipso facto be void. Ordination of Richard Manley as the feoffees' attorney to enter upon the premises and take seisin. Annexed schedule of the charitable uses viz. that the rents, issues and profits be used for the repair of the body of the parish church of Wilstead and the Church House 'as need shall require' with the advice, counsel and consent of the Churchwardens; that it be lawful for the Minister or parish clerk 'or other inhabitant theire meete for that purpose with the like consent' to teach and bring up young children 'in virtuous discipline, education and manners' within the Church House; and that it be lawful for the 'parochians' (parishioners) there for ever to have use of the same house 'for their poore, bridalls, churchalles [church ales] and other lawfull assemblies and meetings' at all lawful and convenient times. Dorse: sealing and delivery in the presence of John Keeling, William Cawne, Thomas Ashbolt, John Stratton and George Edwards; and livery of seisin to the attorney in the presence of JK, WC, George Jiggel and JS; and described, in an inscription, as 'Assignment'.
