    i) Thomas Franklin, L.B. and Elizabeth his wife ii) John Franklin of Rushmore, L.B., gent. William Greene of Ampthill, gent. (attorney) Reciting BO 82 and 83 above, and that (i) is indebted to John Franklin for £143 and upwards, and to William Greene for £38. 12. 5d. for business done as an attorney, and for £20 paid by him to the steward of the Manor of Leighton Buzzard, and that a further £120 is owing to the Lady of the Manor which with other debts makes a total sum of c. £1000 owed by (i), for which (ii) are willing to stand security under certain conditions, CONVEYANCE (Lease and Release) and APPOINTMENT by (i) to (ii) in consideration of 5/- and 10/- of all property in BO 82 and 83 above (excepting the land in Billington Long Mead which has already been sold) upon the following trusts, that (ii) shall as soon as may be sell all property in Watford, Herts., and Edlesborough, Bucks, and the property in the occupation of one Pratt in the North End of L.B., to pay debts, and the other property is to be used to indemnify (ii) against debts for which they stand security.
