George Parris, Lavendon, Bucks, farmer William Kilpin, Bedford, ironmonger William Whitmee, Stoke Goldington, Bucks, farmer iii) The Rev Josiah Bull, Newport P gnell, Protestant Dissenting Minister Reciting lease and release of 3 and 4 December 1828 and enrolled in Chancery [see X729/6/6] Reciting that a Meeting House was erected in pursuance of the trusts now in consideration of £19 paid to i) by ii) and 10s paid to i) by iii) i) releases to iii) - piece of land in Turvey N to S 30 yards (length) E to W 10 yards (breadth) Bounded W other property of i) and to be divided from said property by stone wall to be erected and maintained by ii) S end other property of i) E Thomas Charles Higgins, Esq, (in occupation of Thomas Covington) N end said Meeting House To be held by iii) to use of ii) on trust to permit the erection of a dwelling house, to be built at the expense of the members of the Society of Protestant Dissenters, and to let said house from year to year at best rent which can be obtained. Money raised to be used to pay insurance premium (amount to be insured - £200) and then cost of repair and maintenance. Surplus to be used as decided by meeting of men members and subscribers. Surplus rents to be used for the promotion of Pedo Baptist denomination at Turvey. Power to mortgage, sell and exchange property. If worship ceases for 14 years then property to be disposed of to such religious or charitable causes as 2/3rds of trustees and principal subscribers shall decide.
