    Indenture by way of conveyance between (i) William Simpson and William Purkis Basham both of Cambridge, drapers, (ii) Joseph Giles of Potton, tailor, (iii) William Brown of Dunton, baker and (iv) Edmund Stanton of Biggleswade, writing clerk. Reciting - indentures of lease and release by way of mortgage dated 18 & 19 Feb 1835, the release from Joseph Giles and Elizabeth his wife (née Page) to (i) to secure £200 at an undisclosed rate of interest, on: (a) allotment, close, piece or parcel of sweard land or ground in Milhoe, Dunton, containing 1/3/16 then in occupation of John Holmes, formerly property of Samuel Page deceased, late of Hatley St.George [Cambridgeshire], yeoman which was devised to Elizabeth Page and Ann page equally as co-heiresss at law of SP, AP then dying on 23 Sep 1827 so that the whole estate was devised to EP - that the principal and interest were still outstanding making estate of (i) absolute in law - that (i) had a further charge of £237/4/2 with considerable amount of unpaid interest on the land Witnessing: (iii) at the request of (ii) paid to (i) £182/14/- and (i) conveyed (a) to (iii) Habendum: to (iii) to the use of (iv) in trust with bar of dower Schedules - note of an indenture of lease and release of 2 Aug 1755 from Francis Foskett to James Page and Anne his wife. - Receipt of 12 Jul 1788 from Thomas Page to Samuel Page of Hatley Saint George for £30/13/7 as principal and interest for a legacy of £25 bequeathed to him in the will of his father James Page and charged on real estate of James Page in Milhoe.
