    [Photocopy of Court Roll in Latin] Manor of Goyes and Chamberlaine Bury: Court Baron and Court Customary of the most Hon. Charles Earl of Sunderland, 22 Oct 1724, before John Clarke, gent., steward there. Finding by the homage that since the last court and before this court, namely on 11 May 1722, Elizabeth Plomer, a customary tenant of the manor, surrendered into the hands of the Lord of the Manor, by the hands and acceptance of John Swaine and Robert Cock, two other customary tenants of the Manor, a messuage or tenement with orchard adjoining, with appurtenances then in the tenure of EP, to the use of John Randall or Pirton, wool comber, in fee according to the custom of the Manor, who appeared and was admitted. Rent 2s 8d.
