Calendar of prisoners in the County Gaol 1688 2 July 1688 A Callender of the Prisoners in the Goale for the County aforesaid William Smith comitted by Thomas Bromsall Esqr upon Suspition of breakeing open houses & comitting severall misdemeanors Thomas Truston comitted by Thomas Bromshall Esqr for Stealeing of five peices of Linnen Cloath John Davis comitted by Thomas Bromshall Esqr for Picking the Pockett of Thomas Betts and feloniously stealeing from him one shilling & two Sixpences Robert Allen Comitted by Thomas Hillersdon Esqr for breakeing open a Shopp at Elstow and takeing from thence farthings and Silver to the value of Eight shillings William Neale comitted by John Ventris Esqr upon Suspition of Stealeing of ten pounds out of a Trunk and breakeing open the house of Edward Evans of Northill Anne Osborne and Judith Bedford comitted by William Duncombe Esqr & William Daniell Esqr the said Anne Osborne being charged with the felonious takeing & stealeing of a parcell of linnen, and the said Judith Bedford for Receiveing the same Alexander Morrow & Anne his wife comitted by William Duncombe Esqr for threateing & beateing the Constable of Dunstable and assalting him in the Execution of his Office
