    Deposition:Thomas Wye, Gt.Barford, yeo. 24 March 1684. Grain lost from his granery was found with Thos.Lole. Leonard Wye, and Jn.Fullford, constable of Barford. L.W., with J.F. found grain stolen from his brother in Thos.Lole house. Thomas Lole. Confesses theft of grain of th.Wye. Richard Lavender, servant to Thos.Wye. Threashed in master's barn with Thos.Lole; saw him steal grain; intended to tell master. The Informacon of Thomas Wye of Great Barford in the County of Bedford yeoman, taken upon oath the 24th day of March 1683/4 before Thomas Christie Esqr one of his Majesties of the peace for the said County. This Informant saith that about a fortnight since hee lost out of his Grannery in Great Barford aforesaid 3 or 4 bushells of wheat, Masslin & Oats which this Informant was told by the Constable of Barford & Leonard Wyes Brother was found in the custody of Thomas Lole of Great Barford aforesaid laborer Thomas Wye The Informacon of the said Leonard Wye & John Fullford Constable of Barford aforesaid taken as above These Informants say that on Saturday last upon search they found in the house of Thomas Lole in Great Barford aforesaid about 3 or 4 bushells of severall sorts of graine (viz) wheat, Masslin & Oats whis sic this Informant Leonard Wye affirmeth was stolen from his Brother Thomas Wye Leonard Wye John Fullford The Examinacon of the said Thomas Lole taken as aforesaid This Examinant being charged with the stealinge of the said graine, confesseth the same The examinacon of Richard Lavender taken as above who saith that hee was servant to Mr Thomas Wye & threshed in his barne with Thomas Lole & saw him take the said graine & intended to discover itt to his Mr but was apprehended the next day
