    Deposition:Edward Hill, Maulden. Found his lost tub in house of Hen.Johnson (charged with horse stealing.) The Information of Mr Edward Hill of Maulden taken upon oath before me John Ventris Esqr one of his Majesties Justices of Peace for this County the 15th of May 1684. This Informant being duly sworne sayth that about Srovetide last he lost a Tub and having had a warrant from me he did search in Flitton and did then find his Tub in Henry Johnsons house, whoe as this Informant has beene informed was before Sr Francis Wingate uppon suspition of stealing a horse and being then required to find suerties for his forthcoming has not as he has confest to the sayd Informant beene yet with Sr Francis, although it was before Easter he was required to doe it, but hath since absconded, and further sayth not Edward Hill John Ventris
