    Deposition:Henry Line (sic), With more details of fight: J.L. threw J.U. onto Lime heap. Robert Peck, Clophill, lab. Witnessed fight: details. The Information of Henry Line of Clophill in the County of Bedd yeoman taken upon oath the 12th of May instant Anno Dni 1684 before Charles Dymoke gent Coroner of the sd Libertye vizt This Informant sayth that uppon the third day of May instant he this Informant was going along the street of Maulden in the said County with John Usher & Robert Peck driving their severall Carts, and the sayd John Usher being formost he this Informant saw the sayd Usher goe over the pales into a yard in Maulden aforesayd where John Glin and Wm West were working, and he this Informant heard the sayd Glin & Usher quarrell and afterwards went to fighting and the sayd Wm West sayd to Glin, hang him kill him meaneing the sayd Usher And farther he sayth that the sayd Usher was downe upon a heap of lime lying on the ground and the sayd Glin was striking and beateing him the sayd Usher with his fists, And then he this Informant came and puld the sayd Glin from off the sayd Usher & so parted them.
