    Deposition:Richard Hands, Shotwell (Warwicks), grazier. 3 men robbed him of £15 near Harlborough. Saw Jn.Holtham in the company of men who robbed him before, on Banbury road; has heard of a third robbery. The Informacon of Richard Hands of Shotwell in the County of Warwick grasier taken upon oath before me Sr Francis Wingate Knt one of his Majesties of the peace for the said County of Bedford the 14th day of October 1683 This Informt sayth that on Sunday the seaventh day of this instant October he was Robbed neare Harborough in the County of Leicester of fifteen pounds in money by three men and this Informt verily beleeves he saw John Holtham in company with those men which Robbed him the Tuesday before the said Robbery at or neare Worme Laighton in the County of Warwick in the Road between Southam & Banberry, and he alsoe sayth that he heard of a Robbery comitted neare Banberry on the morrow after he saw the said Holtham with the other three men And further this Informt sayth that he hath heard that the said Holtham went by three severall names.
