Found black horse stolen from his stable with Jn.Whitfield, who said he bought it from T.Tapp. The Informacon of Richard Palmer of Abbington in the County of Northampton yeoman taken upon oath the sixth day of March Ao Dm 1683/4 before Thomas Christy Esqr one of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid This Informant saith that on the thirteenth day of February last in the night there was stollen out of his stable in Abbington aforesaid, one black ston'd horse with a Blemish in his near eye, which horse on Saturday seav'night last, hee found in the hands of Mr John Whittfeild of Warden in this County, who told this Informant that hee bought him of one Tap now a Prisoner in this County Goale Richard Palmer Tho Christie
