Deposition:Martha Butler, w. of Robt.B. Margaret Yarrell said R.Webb told her Adey and his wife had killed her. M.B. and others stripped R.W. after death and found blood. Ursula Edwards. w. of Robert E. She stripped R.W. and found blood. Rose Guy, w. of Nathaniel G. As above. John Eastwell, Tempsford, lab. R.Webb said Adey's wife threatened to cut her throat. The Informacon of Martha Butler wife of Robert Butler of Temsford in the County of Bedd labourer taken upon Oath. The 24th day of March 1681 This Informt saith that on Thursday morning last she heard Margaret Yarwell say, that Rose Webb did tell her that Adey & his wife had killed her And also that she the said Margaret heard the same of the sonne of the said Rose. And further she saith that she this Informt with two others stript the said Rose after her death and found a great quantity of bloud setled crosse her loines. And further saith not. Eisdem die et anno The Informacon of Ursula Edwards wife of Robert Edwards of Temsford aforesaid labr taken upon oath ut supra This Informt saith that she was one of them that stript Rose Webb, and that in stripping & searching her she found a great quantity of bloud setled crosse her loynes & upon both shoulders And further saith not Eisdem die et anno The Informacon of Rose Guy wife of Nathanuell Guy of Temsford aforesaid labourer taken upon oath ut supra This Informt saith the same verbatim that Ursula Edwards before her deposed, this Informt being also one of them that stript the said Rose Webb Eisdem die et anno The Informacon of John Eastwell of Temsford aforesaid labourer taken upon oath ut supra This Informt saith that on Monday morning last Rose Webb came to this Informts house and told him that she the said Rose was rained sooner than ordinary that morning for Adyes wife came into her chamber & threatned her & said she had a good mind to cut her throat S Hanwell Coroner
