    Deposition: William Crawley, Milton Bryant, husbandman. 20 April 1681. Eliz. Campion confessed she stole money from box in his house. Elizabeth Campion. As above. The Informacon of William Crawley of Milton Bryant in the County of Bedd husbandman taken upon oath before me St John Thomson Esqr one of his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County of Bedd upon the xxth day of Aprill Anno dni 1681 as followeth This Informant saith that on Mooneday the 18th of this instant Aprill he had feloniously taken from him out of his house twenty pence halfe penny by Elizabeth Campion as she confess it to this Informt in his said house, & to severall others there, and that she went into his barne, & crept in at a wall which was falln downe before in the day time betweene the barne & the house, he this Informt not beinge at home, And thereupon this Informant charged her the said Elizabeth Campion for feloniously goeing into his said house, and for stealinge the said twenty pence halfe penny And this Informt further saith that the said Eliz: Campion confest the same not onely to this Informant but also to Mary Saunders and Sarah Crawley this Informts daughter they being with him The Examinacon of the abovesaid Elizabeth Campion taken before me St John Thomson Esqr one of his Majesties of the peace for the County of Bedd the xxth day of Aprill Anno dni 1681 This Examinant confesseth that shee did goe into the barne of the said Willm Crawley & soe went in at a wall that was fallen downe before in the said Willm Crawley his house & did open a box in his house, & tooke twenty pence halfe penny out of the said boxe, & carried away the said money.
