Declaration by Thomas Fisher, Shefford, assistant overseer, to the Clerk of the Council, that he is the parish clerk of Shefford. That he has seen the sanction of the Local Government Board for the borrowing by the Parish Council of £733 for the provision of burial accommodation. The net rateable value of the property assessable to the poor rate for Shefford is £2054. That he was present at a meeting of the Council authorising the borrowing of the sum from the Blackburn Philanthropic Burial Society and that the deed was made. He has seen a true copy of the entry in the Parish Council minute book. An entry has been made in the Register of mortgages kept by him as Clerk of the Parish.
