Title
Justice's Certificate: Highway Bedford to Shefford, for which Jas. Taylour stands indicted, is in sufficient repair.
We John Ventris & Samuel Bedford Esqrs two of his Majesties Justices of the Peace within the County of Bedford Doe humbly Certifie That wee have veiwed the Highwayes leading from the Bridge att the water end in Shefford leadeing to Bedford, and being in the parish of Hardwicke, for which James Taylor or the said Parish stand Indited att the Assizes, And wee doe find the said Highwayes are well & sufficiently repayred & are in good repayre Given under our hands this eighteenth day of March in the one & thirtieth yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord King Charles the second Annoque dni 1679 John Ventris S Bedford
