Sale particulars of 78 Kingsway, Dunstable and 19 Kingscroft Avenue, Dunstable, being offered by Allcorn Lockhart & Company.
Purchase of 78 Kingsway agreed for £4,650. Vendor E W Southgate. In May 1966 the vendor withdrew from the sale.
January 1968 - letters sent to various owners of houses in Kingsway, asking if they would be interested in selling. Replies from several owners indicating a willingness to sell. Negotaitions commenced with J P Squires of 35 Kingsway.

Letter from the Department of Education and Science refusing loan consent for the purchase of 35 Kingsway, Dunstable, as it is considered that caretaker's accommodation should be on the college site.
