    Probate of the will of Frances Williamson late of Kempston Manor, Kemspton, Beds, spinster. - 'Sworn under two Thousand Pounds and that the testatrix died 14th May 1859' - Proved at the Principal Registry. Including extract of will dated 4th Sep 1857 & Codicil dated 24th Sep 1857: Giving: - Annuity of £30 to my sister Mary, wife of the Rev. Richard Carter Smith. - £100 to my brother Edmond Riland Williamson or his wife. - £200 to my brothers Richard Williamson & William Williamson or their wives. - All my dresses, wearing apparel, personal ornaments, household furniture, plate, pictures, horses, carriages & goods about the house and premises at Kempston Manor; all my interest in the farming stock & implements at the farm at Portobello belonging to me and my sisters and brother Richard; all my share and interest in the real estate in Campton & Shefford, Beds belonging to my brothers and sisters Richard, William, Catherine & Ann to my sisters Catherine Williamson & Ann Williamson. - Residue of my real & personal estate to my sisters Catherine & Ann; and after their decease: £500 to my niece Ann Jane Williamson and residue of my real and personal estate equally among the children of my sister Mary Smith. - Nineteen guineas to each of the children of my sister Mary Smith. - Nineteen guineas to the Rev. Richard Carter Smith. - Nineteen guineas each to the children of my dear friend Henry Edmund Goodhall. - Nineteen guineas to Charlotte Eliza Goodhall, his wife. - Nineteen guineas to my dear friend Eliza Chalk residing at Wilden Rectory, Beds. - Nineteen guineas to each of my friends Mary Barber, widow now residing in or near Hobart Town, Van Diemans Land; Emma Swansborough; Barbara Trollope (junior); Dorothy commonly called Dora Greenwell Anthoress and Caroline Catherine Mary Stuart. - Ten guineas to each of my friends: Rev. Hamilton John Williams, vicar of Kempston; Rev. John Francis Stuart; Rev. Alexander Vowles Stuart; Rev. Jeremiah William Haddock & Rev. James Renhold Williams. - Nineteen guineas to James Hyde of Porto Bello, Pulluxhill, Beds if living here as the bailiff at the time of my decease. - Ten guineas to my servant George Heathfield. - Ten guineas to my servant Betsy Taylor and five guineas each to my servants Louisa Wildman, Ann King & John Golding. - Five guineas to Henry Hedge, widow; Mary Johnson, widow, formerly a cook in my family; Mary Ann Cole formerly a servant in my family; Goddaughter Margaret Frances Williams and dear old friend Margaret Chapman. - Appointing brother William & sister Ann executors. - Witnessed by Walter Wortham, Vicar of Shephall, Hertfordshire & Harriett Wortham of Shephall Parsonage. Codicil dated 24th Sep 1857 whereby ten guineas was given to Eliza Smith, niece of Rev. Richard Carter Smith and two guineas was given to her servant John Curtis. - Witnessed by H.E. Goodhall of 9 Pancras Lane, London & Charlotte E. Goodhall.
